Jeff’s main responsibilities are blast movement consulting and system training across the globe, as well as in-house research and design and remote customer support.
Lee is a mining engineer with a passion for blasting. He started his career working as a shotfirer, drill and blast supervisor and shift supervisor. Lee then pursued drill and blast engineering specifically, working in a coal mine where he effectively implemented through seam blasting and vibration sensitive blasting. Tying these roles together, he moved to JKTech where he worked on blasting research and Mine to Mill projects globally. Lee’s work has been published by the ISEE, Fragblast and ACARP. His interests include mine blasting, blast movement and its associated data. Lee is currently studying a Master of Science (Statistics) to further his work and understanding of mine blasting. Lee is based in Brisbane and provides support to BMT’s Australasian clients.
Gemma has a degree in Geology, a Graduate Diploma in Mining and over 20 years’ experience in the mining industry.
